I still think that London is my favourite city in the world. I used to travel down to see family when I was younger and now its the city I go to to celebrate special occasions. So, there has always been a feeling of excitement whenever it’s brought into discussion. This year we stayed near Covent Garden, the hotel knew it was our anniversary so throughout the weekend provided us with many complementary gifts (shout-out to ME London). The weekend also coincided with the Trooping the Colour, or the Queens birthday parade. Whilst catching it on TV, I noticed that the flyover would be right above our hotel, so I stood out on the balcony with my camera and managed to catch the Red Arrows, amongst others, fly right overhead. The perfect hotel, alongside perfect weather, food and company, only further cemented my love for the Capital.
